The name says it. Piatta means flat, and at 30mm deep this is the most flush-sitting wall light in the Lumifi range — a full 10mm shallower than the Aristo Line, and significantly less projection than most fittings in this category. That depth matters more than it sounds. Door-adjacent walls, narrow rendered sections, pillar faces with limited clearance — these are the spaces where a standard fitting either won't fit cleanly or looks too heavy once it's on. The Piatta solves that without compromise. Internally it's built to the same standard as the rest of the range: Edison LED chips for colour consistency and a Kegu driver for long-term reliability. The 2×3W output is warm and atmospheric at 2700K — the right level for an entry or alfresco wall that you want to feel considered rather than functional. IP54 rated for outdoor and bathroom walls, double powder-coated in sand black for the Australian climate, and SAA compliant as standard. Running costs are under $6 a year based on typical evening use.

The Piatta runs on 240V AC and requires a licensed electrician to install. At 30mm deep, it's the most unobtrusive install in the range — but it's still worth asking your sparky to run a silicone bead along the back edge where the fitting meets the wall. The contact area is small at this depth, so that step is more important here than on deeper fittings. Keeps moisture out and ensures long-term performance in outdoor and alfresco locations.
