The Lux Ridge and the Willow Beam sit at the same height, but they ask different things of the wall. Where the Willow Beam softens the space with its rounded form, the Lux Ridge sharpens it. The square body — 105mm wide, 200mm tall, and 90mm deep — brings a precision to the wall surface that suits the geometry of modern architecture: clean lines, hard angles, considered proportions. The 2×5W Epistar LEDs deliver a warm up/down wash that matches the scale of the fitting — enough output to hold its presence on wide entries and alfresco walls without overpowering the atmosphere. At 2700K, the output is warm and residential despite the angular form. The sand black finish and double powder coat are well-suited to dark render, off-form concrete, and contemporary exteriors where the fitting is intended to sit within the palette rather than break from it. Epistar LEDs for colour consistency, Kegu driver for long-term reliability, IP54 rated, SAA compliant, and backed by a 2-year Australian warranty. Running costs are under $9 a year based on typical evening use.

The Lux Ridge runs on 240V AC and requires a licensed electrician to install. At 200mm tall and 90mm deep, placement height on the wall and clearance from adjacent architectural elements is worth thinking through before marking up — particularly when used in pairs either side of a large entry where symmetry and consistent positioning make a significant visual difference. Ask your sparky to run a silicone bead along the back edge where the fitting meets the wall as standard practice.
