Lux cube

Most wall lights project light. The Lux Cube projects atmosphere. The cube geometry — perfectly symmetrical at 100×100×100mm — creates shadow lines on the wall that shift with the angle of the surface and the texture of the material behind it. Rendered walls, timber cladding, stone — each one reads differently under this fitting, and that variation is the point. Internally, it runs Cree SMD LEDs, which Lumifi considers the best chip option for colour accuracy and shadow definition. The Boke driver keeps the system stable over time, and the heavier-than-usual aluminium body is designed for better heat dissipation — which directly affects how long the LEDs perform. At 2700K and 4W total draw, the output is warm and residential. Running costs are negligible. Rated IP54, SAA compliant, and backed by a 3-year Australian warranty — a year longer than the standard across this range. Suitable for outdoor walls, alfresco areas, bathrooms, and indoor feature walls.

The Lux Cube runs on 240V AC and needs a licensed electrician to install. The cube form sits flush on the wall at 100mm in each dimension — straightforward to install, but worth asking your sparky to run a silicone bead along the back edge where the fitting meets the wall. Standard practice, and a small step that keeps moisture out and ensures long-term performance, particularly in outdoor and alfresco locations.
