

This premium digital audio/video cable with a solid copper inner conductor and double shielding is designed for connecting streaming, CD, or Blu-ray players to an AV receiver or audio DAC (digital-to-analog converter). It is also suitable for transmitting analog video signals.
Characteristic impedance: The characteristic impedance is the most important parameter for cables intended to transmit high frequencies such as digital information. It results from the geometry of the cable and the dielectric constant of the dielectric used. To avoid reflections in the cable, the characteristic impedance is precisely matched to the respective application. This is the basic prerequisite for the fast and error-free transmission of digital information and for authentic reproduction.
Gold-plated contacts: Surfaces always appear rough when viewed under a microscope. The effective contact area is therefore reduced to the touching "peaks" of the surfaces. Gold is a very soft material that adapts perfectly to fine unevenness, enlarging the contact area and thus reducing unwanted contact resistance. In addition, the precious metal protects the contact surfaces from corrosion for a long time.
Shielding: EMC interference, for example, from mobile communications and Wi-Fi networks, is constantly increasing. Dense shielding, such as a multi-layered shield, is necessary to protect sensitive signals from this interference. This preserves fine details.
