Most wall lights are designed to be viewed face-on. The Cilindro is different. The cylindrical body — 65mm wide, 150mm tall, and 80mm deep — has a three-dimensional quality that gives it presence from the side as much as from the front. It's the fitting you notice when you walk past it, not just when you look at it. The up/down throw from two 3W Epistar LEDs works with the cylindrical form to create a focused column of light above and below, giving the fitting a clean, vertical light effect that suits modern facades, gate pillars, and narrow wall sections between architectural elements. At 2700K, the output is warm and atmospheric rather than functional. The sand black finish and double powder coat make it well-suited to darker architectural palettes and contemporary exteriors where contrast between the fitting and the wall surface is intentional. Epistar LEDs for colour consistency, Kegu driver for long-term reliability, IP54 rated for outdoor and bathroom walls, SAA compliant as standard. Running costs are under $6 a year based on typical evening use.

The Cilindro runs on 240V AC and requires a licensed electrician to install. At 80mm deep, it has more projection off the wall than the flatter fittings in this range — worth considering when positioning near doors, gates, and high-traffic areas where physical clearance matters. Ask your sparky to run a silicone bead along the back edge where the fitting meets the wall as standard practice. Keeps moisture out and ensures long-term performance in outdoor and alfresco locations.
