2500 mm long, Recess mount, silver anodised, Opal diffuser, Comes with 4 plastic end caps. This extrusion is suitable to house strips with up to 12 mm wide PCB. Give your strip lights a longer life and that beautiful diffused linear look with this high quality Aluminium extrusion.

The near 15 mm depth is good enough to not show any dotting in high density strips, and almost all modern COB strips.  In most cases, this profile is used when the strip is not in direct line of site and the desired outcome is to keep the hidden strip straight and cool. The plastic diffuser clips in very easily, unlike the poor quality extrusions that sometimes don’t want to clip in even if tapped with a mullet. 

We have test this extrusion in our showroom and found it capable of diffusing our entire range of COB and SMD strips. 

This extrusion is not suitable to house IP68 strips because of depth and width limitation.

 Please do not compare this product with the very poor quality extrusions available for two thirds of its price. Those extrusions are cheap for a reason. You will struggle to clip the diffuser into those cheap extrusions. In some cases, it does not even clip on by sliding the diffuser from one end, let alone click. In most extrusion projects, its practically impossible to slide the diffuser into the extrusion because of access issues. Spend the extra and get the best!!
